Springfield is the third largest city in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is the county seat of Greene County. On July 1, 2008, the estimated population was 156, 206.  The Springfield Metropolitan Area, population 426,144, and includes the counties of Christian, Dallas, Greene, Polk and Webster. Cape Coral is the largest city in Southwest Florida. It is located in Lee County, Florida, United States. With over 400 miles (640 km) of navigable waterways, Cape Coral has more miles of canals than any other city on earth. According to estimates, as of 2009 the city had a population of 167,917.  With an area of 120 square miles, Cape Coral is the second largest city in Florida after Jacksonville. Rockford is a mid-sized city located on both banks of the Rock River in far northern Illinois. Often referred to as “The Forest City”, Rockford is the county seat of Winnebago County, Illinois, USA. Peoria is a city in Maricopa and Yavapai counties in the U.S. state of Arizona. Located primarily in Maricopa County, it is a major suburb of Phoenix. Grand Prairie is a city in Dallas, Ellis, and Tarrant Counties in the U.S. state of Texas  and is a part of the Mid-Cities region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth and in 2006 had a population of 153,812.

Vancouver is a city on the north bank of the Columbia River in the U.S. state of Washington and the county seat of Clark County. Garden Grove is a city located in northern Orange County, California. In 2009, the city’s population was estimated at 174,715. Oceanside is the third-largest city in San Diego County, California. The city has a population of about 179,681.  Together with Carlsbad and Vista, it forms a tri-city area. The city is located just south of Camp Pendleton, the busiest military base in the United States. Oceanside has experienced dramatic growth since 1970, when its population was 45,000.
